Your account
How to delete your account
Just want to change squad or club? No need to delete your account: ask your coach or the club's administration, who can move you without losing your history.
From the app, in two steps
- 1 Open the app and go to Profile. At app.remonta.me or in the mobile app, signed in with your account.
- 2 At the bottom of your profile, tap “Delete my account”. You'll see the list of what gets deleted. Read it: it's the only thing between “I'm leaving this club” and “I'm losing four years of training”.
- 3 Enter your password and the word
DELETE(ELIMINARif the app is in Spanish), and confirm. The password proves it's you; the word prevents an accidental tap. The account is deleted immediately and all your sessions are signed out.
If you no longer have access
If you don't remember your password, you can first request a new one from the sign-in screen. If you can't get in at all, email us from the address you signed up with at contact@remonta.me with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll check that the address matches the account and delete it within 30 days at most. We'll confirm by email.
What is deleted immediately
- Your name, email, phone, ID number, date of birth, sex and rowing side.
- All your logged sessions, with their pieces, times and how you felt.
- Your weight and height, and their whole history.
- Your attendance, your selections, your place in the squad and in crews.
- Your join requests, your open sessions, your devices and your notifications.
What is kept, and why
- What the club created and still uses (scheduled templates, calendar sessions, events, invitations and issues) stays, but without your name: it appears as “Deleted user”. It no longer identifies you.
- The provider's backups may keep data for a limited time until they are renewed.
- If you are the only administrator of a club, you'll have to appoint another one before deleting your account: the club can't be left without anyone in charge.
